SWM Spectator Sportsmanship / Behavior Policy

  • Good sportsmanship is expected at all events. Spectators who display poor behavior may face suspension of their attendance privileges. SWM SC holds spectators to the same conduct standards as coaches and players; however, a formal yellow or red card from a referee is not required for the Club to take disciplinary action.
  • Excessive dissenting referee calls may warrant a one game poor sportsmanship suspension of spectator privileges. Directive inappropriate comments made to the referee, player, or coach, or field official may warrant a two-game bad sportsmanship suspension of spectator privileges.
  • If the referee requires the spectator to leave the game area before restarting the game for excessive dissenting or directive inappropriate comments then the spectator is suspended from attending the next game. This incident needs to be reported to a member of the disciplinary committee to determine if further suspension is warranted.
